Owen Grey lives in a future where it is doctors managed to cure neuronal diseases using an implant cricket scores or at least alleviate the symptoms. Mentally handicapped children, it helps to concentrate better, to be smarter. Owen himself is also support cricket scores such an implant, because he suffered from severe epilepsy after an accident. His father invented especially for him very special implant. How special it is, he only finds out when he meets Lyle, a former member of Echo Squad. Only twelve soldiers were good enough for a special program called Zenith, which makes the men perfect soldiers. The people who are not carriers of an implant, insult other than amps and complain that implant carriers not even be more people. A battle is imminent.
The plot of the implant is told over a relatively long period of time. Interim reports on government decisions or the latest findings are summarized in the form of documents or newspaper articles. I like the idea of introducing the reader to the information in this way. So everything is dealt with quickly, it is not exaggerated cricket scores boring and unnecessary and you do not have yet the feeling of experiencing an extreme lapse.
Owen makes in the course of history through a change. From harmless, innocent teacher, he develops a rebel who knows what he wants and what he is fighting. The nice thing about the other characters as Vaughn (the boss of Pure Pride), Lucy (Lyles twin sister) and Lyle yourself is that you do not know until the end who is on whose side. Who can be trusted cricket scores Owen and who does not?
Although repeatedly many scientific facts are thrown, you have not the sense to read a scientific paper. It is an exciting, understandable science fiction novel that immerses for a short time in a future reader, the one chasing a shiver down the spine.
